No idea what to do with kittens, but winging it over here, fostering these babies for a dear friend who’s been evacuated from her Topanga home for the past 9 days. It’s been a living nightmare what thousands affected have had to suddenly endure. Almost 100,000 acres of land turned into dust. Countless homes and structures destroyed, remaining wildlife homeless or severely injured, and fatalities. Let’s not forget our fellow northern Californians with their own battle with numbers climbing: 1,000+ people missing, 71 dead, 148,000 acres burnt, 12,000 structures destroyed. Our air quality is at alarming rates. I’m on nasal and oral steroids and antihistamines (also cuz I’m allergic to cats lol, but it is what it is!).
