Hi John! My name’s Adrianne Elfring (aka Miss E) and I’m a Special Ed Kindergarten Inclusion Teacher in San Jose, CA. I have a diverse class with 7 special ed students and 16 general ed students. I teach in a Title 1 school and every year our budget seems to diminish. I get no money for supplies (I hustle for materials on Facebook marketplace) and rely a lot on donations and my own fundraising. I really want to get my students their own water bottles because they run around like CRAZY at recess and they need to stay hydrated! Most students families can’t afford to get them one. We also need sensory materials to help the kiddos focus, materials to help develop their fine motor skills, and books (cause every kid deserves an awesome class library). Please pick me and my class for one of your 10 Featured Teachers, my kiddos deserve it!
