In the line of Labs, Barbara and I have owned he was number 4. He was our first black lab. Barbara and I decided in tribute to “the man in black” we would name him “Cash” I had just wrapped WALK THE LINE. He was a highly spirited athlete. Loved to run, loved to play fetch. He had some peculiarities he ate rocks, he suffered extreme separation anxiety. Even though he joined a pack of two, a chocolate and a blonde. He had just under a acre of land to roam on and a dog door to come and go. But if you left him to long he would tear apart your things. He was goofy! He was handsome. He constantly needed a pet and if you did not oblige him he would lift your hand with his nose until you did. He was always by my side. He loved my children. He was such a nervous fellow, loud noises, would send him jumping in your lap shaking. At 72 pounds he was quite a lap dog. He should have been a hunting dog, that’s what he was bred for. Barbara says he was a puppy till he was 7. Even after obedience school. I loved looking him in the eyes, he loved looking in mine. I have been devastated by his loss. I have had many dogs, but losing him has been especially hard. He was my good boy! R.I.P. Cash ???? #blacklab
