In 1994, Aaliyah was just 15 but had already released her now-iconic debut album Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number. London photographer Eddie OTCHERE (@dhagren) was also at the beginning of his career, two years into studying photography at London College of Communication. That year, the two met for a photo shoot in Swiss Cottage and these photos are now part of new book Contact High: A Visual History of Hip-Hop by Vikki Tobak (Clarkson Potter).⠀
