Photo by @ciriljazbec | Tshering’s yak-herding summer camp sits under Mount Masanggang, at about 4,500 meters above sea level in Bhutan. Light in the tent is turned on during dinnertime. Even though this photo was taken in July, it gets very cold during the night: Temperatures at this altitude can fall below zero degrees Celsius. The main problems faced by Tshering's family are the rapidly changing climate and wild predators, such as snow leopards attacks.
