We spent the day helping hundreds displaced by #CampFire in Paradise. Listening to stories of those evacuated. Some that lost pets and family. Others, decades of memories burnt into ash by fire.
.
There were tears. Words that could barely breathe air. But at the same time - hope, the promise of a better tomorrow, and gratitude that people care.
.
In midst of all the hate we see in the world. It is the compassion we have for other people, and the single acts of kindness we make - the reason there will always be hope.
.
Thank you to @Iloveomfoods for partnering with us, and opening your doors to hundreds of displaced. To @nancynmatthews for helping to bring a holiday meal to those in need.
