"Her previous colorist left her with the works.. bands, hot roots, over-processed hair ? In order to try and cool down her brassy roots, she used a purple shampoo and you can see little hints of violet mixed in with the orange. The violet overtoned pieces were extremely fragile and needed to be completely left out of the foil. ? .
I used @paulmitchellus Sychrolift with 5 volume for her entire lightening session. Yes, 5! ? Low & Slow is a must when working with compromised hair, you have to be patient! I pretoned with @joico V9 + Clear and @olaplex. Then I did a basemelt with A5 + B7 and an overall tone of @paulmitchellus The Demi 9BV + Clear with a capful of 9V. ? I followed toning with a @joico Luster Lock treatment for strength & shine. The total time of this service was about 7 hours ⏰"
