#TBT to my second career grand slam.

I was 20, in what would be the best year of my career. I won my only batting title that year with a .358 average, with 36 HR and 123 RBI. It helped hitting in front of my “big brothers,” Ken Griffey, Edgar Martinez and Jay Buhner.

I loved hitting in Baltimore, and this 3-2 fastball felt so good off the bat.
.
I remember my brother Joe and my friend Choco were in the stands that night and running around like crazy.
.
And there’s nothing better than watching it now and listening to the call from the legendary Dave Niehaus ... “Get out the rye bread and the mustard, grandma! It’s grand salami time!” He made every moment that much more memorable.
