#DoHoSuh's The Perfect Home II was a work made at a time when the artist did not create instructions for installation. This full-scale fabric replica of his New York City apartment came to the Museum in seven wooden crates filled with polyester fabric, various sized stainless steel rods and no specific instructions for its installation. Conservators, registrars, art handlers, curators, designers, as well as studio and gallery assistants spent five months puzzling out the installation, and working to get from boxes of fabric and stainless steel to the amazing completed work currently on view in #OneDoHoSuh.
