We all have a friend who’s a little crazier than the rest... In Nova Scotia, people surf through the winter, despite freezing temperatures. Why? In that part of Canada, you’re never more than 67 kilometres (42 miles) from the coast so it’s really hard to stay away from the ocean for too long. If empty peaks are your jam, consider adding Nova Scotia to your must-surf list. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of waves to be had in the warm summer months - if you’re chickened out by the thought of sub-zero surfing. ;) #ExploreCanada

On a tous un ami un peu plus téméraire que les autres… En Nouvelle-Écosse, certaines personnes s’adonnent au surf en hiver, malgré les températures glaciales. Pourquoi? Dans cette région du Canada, les côtes ne sont jamais à plus de 67 km de l’endroit où l’on se trouve, alors il est difficile de résister à l’attrait de l’océan bien longtemps. Si vous adorez chevaucher les vagues, pensez à ajouter la Nouvelle-Écosse à votre liste de destinations. Ne vous inquiétez pas, il y a aussi beaucoup de déferlantes durant les chauds mois d’été, si l’idée de prendre un bain glacé vous refroidit! ;) #ExploreCanada
