"When fading, I use the “skip guard” technique mainly because it’s a visual representation of hair cutting. Essentially, you create soft lines then proceed to breaking them by using the corresponding guards. This style isn’t for everyone, my way isn’t the only way, it’s the way that works for me being a visual learner. When doing this technique, I split the fade into four sections, by doing so, I can concentrate on each section individually. The top was cut and styled prior to creating the video to make it visually appealing and to keep the hair out of fading sections." Products used: @wahlpro
