Here’s a pic from the middle of Rivieres Pourpres - a 16 pitch 5.12c (7b+ for international folks) that I climbed as part of Free Solo. It’s funny, the film speeds past the 3 weeks I spent in Morocco with @トミー・コールドウェル as a small training stop on the way toward El Cap, which is true, but it certainly felt like a big adventure in and of itself. I’ve heard rumor that there might eventually be dvd extras or something with more of the Morocco story told.
But until then - the Free Solo tour continues. @freesolofilm starts showing in theaters in the UK this week on the 14th. And it’s still in theaters all over the US for those who’ve missed it. Sorry I don’t have better details for folks in the rest of the world - it will continue to roll out over the next few months and eventually show on TV and then stream online.
