忘年会の宴会芸の特訓中ニャン?
Dojou Sukui is a traditional dance of Shimane Prefecture, west of Japan, dated back during the Edo era, 300 years ago. "Dojou" means loach, a small fresh water fish. "Sukui" means to scoop up with a basket.
The Dojou Sukui is a pantomime-style dancing which projects the life of Japanese farmers in old days comically.
In the performance, you will see the farmer getting disappointed by failing to catch any fish and become happy later to be able to 　catch one at last. The performance is so humorous and straightforward that one can perceive the story without verbal explanation. As a result, many foreigners find the performance interesting and enjoyable. ★
