I have hesitated to post this but since he is a big part of my life (biggest really) and I have been open with sharing my other personal matters with you all... I also hope this can bring awareness.
My husband (who lives a very healthy life) just had a heart attack. He was rushed to the ER and had open heart surgery to do a quadruple bypass. Two of his arteries were completely blocked, another one was 95% blocked and the cardiologists couldn’t believe he was still running and lifting weights just prior to the attack.

It had been extremely terrifying for all of us. I was faced with the possibility of losing the love of my life and our little kids faced losing their father.
The heart attack was caused by inflammation which was developed after he received his radiation treatment for his cancer 8 years ago. The radiation can damage and narrow the arteries which can lead to heart attacks. The incredible discovery during the surgery was that his survival mechanism allowed his arteries to grow out and expand on its own to keep his heart pumping. ?
My good friend has been watching BB. She is having a blast with kids and a few Border Collies. They even have sheep, chickens and cats. I hope she still remembers me! We miss her so much. ??
