I sat by a writer for @pagesix at my Art Basel dinner the other night and we talked about fashion and buying art and the pains of “making” it as an artist...... I also had to get real about getting started as an artist and being “broke as hell” and figuring out this crazy ride.. how will I make it? How much harder can I work? Will they ever see me? .. ill admit all the bad shit..... scared... broke... told id never make it.... i delivered food for a caterer at lunch everyday to make an extra $32 .. id buy scrap wood at home depot...just a woman with a paintbrush and category 5 hustle.... and a lot of self love...... thank you @pagesix ... and to the entrepreneurs, dont let the bastards grind you down...... ps... having what you need to make an idea come to fruition is what makes you RICH and that is the dream.... it only took 24 fucking years....
