Had the honor to attend the opening ceremony of Degoo Contemporary Chinese Furniture Design Museum, followed by a comprehensive tour of the craftsmanship showcase.

Seldom have I seen a more dedicated team devoted to their crafts, working with their bare hands. Hats off to the young lacquer painter, she was smudged all over yet she greeted us with a warm smile. She had just finished painting a little desk, it took her 6 months of hard work.

Yohji Yamamoto-sensei said it best -- 'Save The Manufacturing Workers!'.
