In October, Lush spent time visiting the social enterprise, re-wrap. We visited the production area for our Fighting Animal Testing bags in Gumbali, Southern India. There’s a lot of prepping, cutting, and craftsmanship that goes into the production of the Fighting Animal Testing bags .We caught up with some of the women who are part of this ever growing enterprise.

1. This is Thriveni, Thriveni manages the Gumbali unit and has 2 1/2 years as a trained counsellor, the ladies come to her for advice and guidance for sewing.

2. This is Geetha, Geetha is a power machine tailor and has worked with re-wrap for 4 years, her favourite bag is the Fighting Animal Testing bag.

3. This is Hemavati, Hemavati has been at Re-wrap since the beginning, 4.5 years has seen her become the soul breadwinner for her family, she cuts and marks the handles for the tailors to stitch.

4.The ladies have a Yoga session daily.
