As 2018 comes to a close in just a few short weeks, I’ve done a lot of thinking about the last 365 days... But more so, I’ve been anxiously looking towards the next 365 days. I’ve always been one to be filled with excitement about the start of a new year, but perhaps this year more than ever. I couldn’t be more excited for a new year, a new beginning, and a new chapter. As I sit here and reflect back on the year that comes to an end, I look back on many highs but this was a year that was also filled with a lot of transitions, changes, some sadness, and a lot of fear... fear of the unknown, fear of starting over, fear of uncertainty. But today the sadness and fear have washed away, and I’m filled with so much happiness + excitement. So for those of you starting a new chapter or just excited to start a new year too, something I am certain of is this: everything happens for a reason, the good and the bad... and it’s okay to not be okay... but I promise, you WILL be okay❤️ I’m extremely lucky to be starting my year with some pretty freaking incredible people in my life, by my side, near and far... 2019, I love you already.
