Artist Yeesookyung creates her works using ceramic kiln discards—broken fragments of fired clay that traditional potters have rejected—to produce her amorphous sculptures. In this imaginative recycling, she has created here what she refers to as the shape of the earth. She refers to her pieces as "my children."
