“We were doing this over fifteen years ago!” @ethan_pringle said to me as we were warming up for finals in the final stop on the National Cup Series on Saturday. Yeah, we felt pretty old, but also pretty cool to be in finals together. ? And I managed a 4th place finish! .1 of a point behind @michaelakiersch and getting on the podium, but it was her birthday so I let her have it... ? Being out of the comp game for a while, the setting style is totally foreign to me and the parts of my body that are sore are weird; triceps and quads?! Note to self: get better at squatting and pressing. Really cool to dip my toe back into this part of the sport and still hang in there with all the young beasts. Plus I got to hang with some longtime homies. Thanks @ndclimber for getting me into finals, and @usaclimbing and @ascentstudio for the good times!
