The Met Cloisters is looking festive! In celebration of the holiday season, special decor is adorning the entryways and galleries at @TheMetCloisters, located in northern Manhattan. On view through January 6, the unique decorations all use fresh plant materials associated with the medieval celebration of Christmastide, the 12 days between the Nativity and Epiphany. The Main Hall decorations seen here feature real lady apples, rosehips, hazelnuts, and ivy sourced from New York’s Fort Tryon Park. #TheMetCloisters
