Early fight walk-thru for Braven with @ジェイソン・モモア, choreographed around a nasty little knife, the karambit, that would be in my right hand, slashing, bleeding and weakening the bigger man. There were a few things we didn’t like about the choreography or that didn’t sit well in our bodies, or that didn’t work in the actual environment, so it would change slightly. Always the case. But this is the beginning.
My friend Jason Momoa has a new movie coming out in the States tonight—@aquamanmovie. It’s already killing it internationally and I expect with the positive word of mouth and reviews, it will here, too. It doesn’t need my help—but go see it. Cause I love this guy. It’s a feeling he generates in all those who enter into his orbit. Fiercely loyal, driven, humble, self-deprecating despite his talent, he out-worked a massive group of really hard-workers—he set the example. And we all followed it. All the grace and joy he is exhibiting as he lives fully and gratefully in this Aquaman moment brings a big smile to my face—I think all our faces. He acts, produces, directs and tries things that scare him. Jason’s a special kind of leader. Support his work. I think he’s just warmin’ up.
