"No need to be alarmed, I'm just your friendly neighbourhood ray!" @emilyteresaward bumped into this fellow in the shallows at #HamelinBay in the @margaretriver region of @westernaustralia recently. It's quite common to see eagle rays and stingrays in the shallows here; they come in close to shore to feed on the scraps from local fishermen. Hamelin Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in this part of @australiassw; in fact, Emily describes it as "one of the best beaches I’ve been to". We can certainly see why!
