There's a lot of reasons Salt Lake is a good spot for climbers, and one of them is the physical therapists that work in the valley. Us climber's are pretty good at breaking ourselves, and without these unsung heroes our recovery would take a lot longer! I want to thank @revpt and the person behind it, @carriecooper_dpt , for always helping me get back on the wall at the right time. It's rare that you find someone so knowledgeable about body mechanics, plus she's a passionate rock climber! Each one of Carrie's diagnoses and recovery plans is personalized and unbound by any PT template. 10/10 would recommend. #CarrieCare 💪

The video in the last slide is an exercise that has been helping me balance my overdeveloped pecks and biceps. Strength is helpful in climbing, no doubt, but imbalance is just asking for injury, and it holds your body back from it's full range of motion potential. There's a lot to focus on with this scarecrow modification, and @revpt can explain it a lot better than I can. Check out her page for the break down.
