#Repost @kokuahawaiifoundation ・・・ Surfers and spectators at the #BillabongPipeMasters caught the #PlasticFreeWave to inspire ocean lovers around the world to wipe out plastic pollution! As part of the Plastic Free Pipeline Project, ocean artist @ethan.estess.art.science teamed up with @SustainableCoastlinesHawaii, @KokuaHawaiiFoundation and #WSLPURE to create a large sculpture of Banzai Pipeline from plastic pollution, fishing nets and reclaimed lumber. The giant wave was on display at the Pipe Masters event to raise awareness about plastic ocean pollution. The sculpture is now moving to @turtlebayresort to engage the public, with a goal of inspiring conversations on display throughout the islands. Will you Catch the Plastic Free Wave?
