This is the first Christmas without my Grandma N. To be honest I had a lot of anxiety about coming home for Christmas because it’s the first time I’ve been home since she passed away back in May. I’ve had some sad moments but I feel myself really soaking up every second of this trip. I LOVE the quiet mornings drinking coffee with Jimmy and cuddling my pups, And I’m equally enjoying the chaos that comes along with our large vibrant families. All of the parts of the holidays that have felt overwhelming in the past feel like such a treat this time around and I know that has a lot to do with having no idea that last Christmas would be the last one I would have with my Grandma N. I miss her so much but I’m very grateful for the Christmas memories we made together and I’m even more excite about memories I’m gonna make this year with her spirit in the air. ❄️
