First, I want to thank everyone for their birthday wishes.  I literally lost count of the number of languages in which I heard “Happy Birthday” in the last few hours, and if it takes a village to raise a child, I am incredibly fortunate to be a member of so many.
I also want to tell you that I am proud to be an actor, because I know more than anyone how valuable it is to escape the real world when life gets unbearable.  I’m proud that I am able to express myself in music, too, because I know how valuable it is to put on an album and disappear.
I know that art helps us fight when shit gets real, and I know that some of you have lost parents, or siblings, or you are dealing with stuff that I am honestly not brave enough to even imagine. Little Kaiden in the photo here is in one of those spots.  He is in grave danger and needs an operation quickly in order to save him.  If everyone who likes this post contributes literally just a few cents, Kaiden’s goal will be met and you will be giving the greatest gift that you can.  Link’s in the bio.

EDIT - CHRISTMAS MIRACLE UPDATE!! Kaiden’s family received news that the operation is going to be moved from the US to Canada: “Although we still have financial needs while we are in Toronto, the majority of it can be managed by our families. We will return every donation given to us as it is no longer needed. We are in contact with gofundme on how to return all of the funds to each person especially those that we do not know personally. Moving forward, What we ask for now are prayers and positive energy for a safe and complication free surgery for our little boy.” So your generous donations are going to be returned, and Kaiden’s family will not face the stress that I know many of you experience when dealing with the financial side of health care in the US.
