The Eiffel Tower — it's a prominent symbol of one of the world’s most romantic cities and a main stop for tourists visiting France. Residing on the Champ de Mars in Paris, in the seventh arrondissement, it’s hard to believe that something this iconic has already long surpassed her intended lifespan. The iron beauty was initially intended to be temporary — the entrance for the World Exposition in 1889 and a testament to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution.
