This is a personal Christmas Miracle! I have not seen this guitar since 1991. This is a custom Ibanez guitar @officialibanezguitars I had in the early days of Jane’s Addiction. Somewhere along the line, in my more wreck-less days, I either pawned it for dope or I threw it in the audience... Possibly opening day of Lollapalooza 91 in AZ. The body has a painted recreation of Perry Farrell’s sculpture on the cover of our first studio album, Nothing’s Shocking. Anyway, I was sitting at home watching the news when I get a text from Steve Jones @jonesysjukebox that simply read “Oi, this yours?” He then sent images of this guitar which I had long let go of. I was blown away! Steve put me in touch with Eric @ebiz12 at @guitarcenter and he told me someone had come in to sell it. I said, “Get it! Get it!” So, huge thanks Steve to Eric and for helping this piece of my history get home! Super grateful to everybody who helped make this happen. @guitarcenter
