Every region has its own weaving traditions, with signature patterns and techniques that make this craft a symbol of its culture. Japan is no exception. Presenting the royal tradition of Japanese textile craft in its highest form, also known as #nishijin weaving.

Fine silk and gold leaf threads are carefully woven to create beautiful fabrics unlike any others. These delicate Nishijin textiles have been produced by the house of Hosoo at the Nishijin district of Kyoto for more than 1,200 years.
