I’m alive! Promise! Just deleted Instagram off my phone. Needed a little space (posting this from Dennis phone). I got to do something wonderful today. I’ll share it with you soon.
Being away from social media is equally hard (fomo/makes me feel isolated/guilty) and the absolute best (no distractions, totally present, zero scrolling). I’ve spent these past days cooking, baking, swimming, cleaning... And trying to keep Lea Luna from drawing “fishies” and “dinosaurs” with crayon all over our kitchen floor and walls?‍♀️ The more I tell her no the more she wants to do what she’s not allowed to. She climbs the kitchen table now. I look away for a second and suddenly she’s just up there, on the table, showing me who’s boss. These days... Its HARD. She looks me in the eye as she pours her milk all over the floor on purpose. Throws her toys around. Refuses to hold my hand when we walk up stairs. Oh and?in her bed today! Uh?
Seriously though. By 7pm I’m so tired I literally can’t get off the couch to heat up leftovers. She’s testing me and I’m so tired right now and motherhood is hard. Just sharing in case you’re on a couch somewhere exhausted and need a reminder that it’s hard for all of us.
