One of the weirdest and raddest full circles yet...a few years ago I had to get approval for my @the_locust_official tattoo to be shown on a TV series, so I reached out to @justinpearson31g from the band about it. I mainly didn’t want to have to sit in the makeup chair to get it covered up, but was also amused at the idea of the character having a tattoo of an obscure and influential grind/hardcore band. We’d never actually met, but I’d seen The Locust play a number of times and obviously was - and still am - a massive fan. Anyway, he was real cool about it and invited me to a @unftw show (his new band) a couple weeks later in the A. We’ve kept in touch ever since and just recorded an episode of his #cultandculture podcast which will be coming to an earpiece near you in January.
