*To put this upfront - my birthday is actually on JAN 2 - but it can be kind of confronting to have your new year literally fall on the actual New Year - not because I feel like I need my own celebration (quite the opposite, I’m not a big “me” celebrator) but because the New Year’s thoughts, expectations, goals & personal revelations literally hit me like a double shot of whiskey w/ my own personal trip around the sun simultaneously. So I was nearly brought to tears when my husband surprised me today with a birthday trip - first stop, visiting our BFF Andrew in his hometown, Denver (& his beautiful mama!) for the most incredible brunch. Andrew even packed a road trip goodie bag to sustain us until our next stop.
All this to say - how much I love you @michaelpolish @bevansburg ... thank you for always bringing me up. I am grateful to be alive and to be alive with you. ?❤️✨? ?? (ps, we’re just getting started ...)
