What a year 2018 has been ?? I had some incredible moments, for example I learned how to fly in Season 2 of @marvelsrunaways with the help of a very well prepared stunt team (although it left me with a high pitched voice). I travelled more of the country and got to meet some of you incredible people but most importantly, it was a year of personal growth. There came a point where I was scrolling on Instagram while in bed (which I am trying to get out the habit of doing!) & saw the “4M followers” at the top of my screen. I had a few options: 1) just use it because industry folk tell you “it helps to get jobs”, 2) for Vanity/validation reasons or 3) use my “influence” for good. To encourage those who may be doubting themselves. I went with Option 3.
So if you are a doubter, do not be. There is only one person who will captain 2019 for you & that is yourself. Be hungry. Believe in yourself. And go get it.
2018 has been my best year yet & I truly believe it’s down to two reasons. Firstly, because I am lucky to have genuine affection and support from you guys & thankfully you tune into my show! ? and second, because if anyone tells me “no” or “you can’t” or “you won’t be able to”, it makes me smile internally, because it challenges me to prove them wrong ? Believe in yourself. Oh, and Get Up. Get Out. Get Healthy.
