It’s been a wonderful week for good movies, margaritas, and reflection. In my YouTube days I would make a video montage each December with my favorite moments of the year, but for 2018, photos will suffice. Here are my favorite moments of 2018 (? by @destroyinstagram): .

1. I’m squatting at my friend’s NY apartment, surmising the damage of a project left in shambles. What was first a massive catastrophe became a huge opportunity for personal and professional growth (and semi-moving to NY for 9 months.) .

2. Hosted a Showtime pilot with @attndotcom on gritty social issues. It was such a cool concept & a great chance to cut teeth on a new way of thinking about investigative first person journalism. Unfortunately the pilot didn’t move forward but it lit a flame and excited to create more of this type of thing next year.
3. Sang my latest AI singles at the @ニューヨーク・タイムズ #AISummit; jazzed to do more of this in 2019
4. Tiggie managed to make it through a shave without peeing on the groomer. #smallwins
5. Was left stunned by a proposal from my favorite person….and a cat ring no less! :D
6. While finishing up my AI album, the @verge came by the studio to film an inside look at the making-of. They did the most comprehensive video to date on the future of tech + music.
7. Died hair blue, life goal ✅
8. Co-hosted an event for Senator Cory Booker, who I first saw speak at an event in 2013. While I’m quite disillusioned by politics and politicians, he is one of the most genuine and passionate I’ve seen in years.
9. The Ayzenburg Gallery selected the VR music series I created for I AM AI to be featured in their 2018 XR Gallery. I’m really proud of this work it wouldn’t have been possible without @jenndefer, @dannybittman @vrplayhouse & @vrhuman .
