Legendary Hong Kong director Ringo Lam has died on Dec 29 at age 63. He was known for directing the influential 1986 film “City on Fire”. He won best director at the Hong Kong Film Awards for this movie. Some of his other classic films include Prison on Fire and A Moment of Romance. He was known as one of the best action movie directors of Hong Kong’s “golden age” of cinema in the 80s and early 90s. May he RIP.
