Filing this under the shizzzz you find when you’re moving. Why am I posting a pile of old paper? Because this, my friends, is a five inch high (yes, I measured) stack of heartache. On a shelf in the back of a closet I just found a dusty box of audition appointment sheets dating from 1999 to 2008. I know...wtf was I doing holding on to them? Each one of these pieces of paper is an audition. Some I got, most of them I didn’t. I showed it to Santtu, made him feel the weight of it, and he just sighed and said “yeah...I remember...”. I was about to gleefully burn it, when we decided to save it to show the girls one day. Who knows, maybe they’ll need a pep talk about despair....I mean, persistence, God knows I often did. Still do. Always will. Meantime, thank you to every friend and family member, colleague, agent, manager, casting director and parking attendant who pep talked me. Time and time again. I’m eternally grateful.....As for the Hell Raiser 7: Deader audition....they can suck it. Outside voice. Sorry. ...thanks for tuning into my episode of “Hoarders”.
