What a way to end the year! To recap- a few years ago we started a charity in my hometown to help struggling families with medical debt. Slowly we unraveled massive hospital debt issues that seemed insurmountable. This led to us re-examining how we can help erase charges and stacked bills, and we found a GEM! By working with lawyers and hospitals we have been able to erase over 100k of debt in just the last few months of the year. We will take this nationally next year, please reach out if you’d like to host Dollar For in your city to completely erase medical debt for your community! This is a phenom, and we’re going to get push back pretty quickly by big corporate hospitals who KNOW its unlawful to hold lower income patients to these massive (and inflated) bills.
