The Lion Fish is Native to the South Pacific and Indian Ocean, the potentially deadly fish has toxic barbs and an excruciating sting capable of killing people. Although fatalities are rare, the stings can cause extreme pain, vomiting and respiratory paralysis! Thank you Wiki for this info . They are invasive and are harming the reefs so the Turks and Caicos are allowing divers to spear them ( which is what we’re doing here, I’m just the photographer) and despite their poisonous quill fins they are said to be safe to eat and tasty. Though who wants to touch them ? Not me! #reef #savethereef #lionfish
