Oddly enough, a few years ago I shot a campaign for Target and it included a piece on their race car driver so I had to go to a few races and there was one thing that really stuck out... In the world of NASCAR, they have such respect and praise to the drivers who got them to where they are today, the fans and the industry alike. When a legendary driver walks by, the crowd parts like the Red Sea. They really seem to take care of their pioneers. I think it’s important that the world of skateboarding does the same. No matter how many bigflips were done after this, til the day I die, this will be the one imprinted in my memory as the best. In retrospect, I’m constantly amazed how a group of 15-17 year old kids completely changed and defined what modern skateboarding would become for the entire world over. From the tricks to the style. @jovontae_888 had both before a lot of you were born. Easily one of my favorites of all time. - sb #berrics
