Organizing never felt so good!! Although I admit it was a process. Getting rid of “stuff” can be hard to let go of, and I’m no exception. When we downsized our home significantly last year, I piled up everything in the new garage and there it sat unopened, in cardboard boxes, a total mess. I knew I needed to go through it all but the task felt overwhelming and never ending . I knew I’d have to make piles: garbage, donations to non profit organizations and to friends and family. Then, there’s the task of organizing the things we wanted to keep. Again, overwhelming. My goal was to pull my car into my garage and after two days of purging, sorting and organizing with the help of Ryan and Brandie from @thehomesort , I DID!!! It felt like a weight (literally pounds of stuff) lifted from my being. -This isn’t an ad. I just loved these women ?and they did a fantastic job and I feel proud to have tackled a job that’s weighed on me for a year. Thanks ladies!!! Can’t wait to do a few more spaces together! And I LOVE your families, who helped with the process! I think our kids are forever friends ?. -? @christyljohnston
