There seems to be a theme to the carpet connection: the arm grab! I just noticed. Grabbed #PatriciaClarkson because I don’t think there’s a more avid fan than me. Everything she does is so rich and complex. I was so happy she won for Sharper Objects! If you haven’t seen it, do. It’s a master class in character development. Then I grabbed my ex-husband from “Along Came Polly” @ベン・スティラー who is also an incredible director. “Escape at Dannamora” was fantastic. Patricia Arquette won Best Actress for her stunning work in it. See it! Then #emilyblunt and I talked fashion while we waited to do photos, Lady Gaga talked about how excited she was for a night to celebrate Artists and then —- WHAT?!!! Nadia Comanici! Anyone from my generation and older remembers her as the Olympic gymnast who broke every record. What a surreal moment to meet her on the carpet! #goldenglobes
