I’m back! At work! And today’s 2019 kick-off was full of magic, mystery, and free curbside medical advice! Big thanks to @drsandralee aka @drpimplepopper who not only rediagnosed my ladylike fatty lipoma as a “chalky mass” (new nickname) but also told a story from her medical school days that I’ve thought about non-stop since approx 9:54 AM. Loved how candid she was about her love/hate relationship with extracting things, and especially grateful for my swag bag full of her book, socks & her new skincare line which I’ll be slathering on my chalky mass in mere seconds. But maybe my favorite moment today was learning that our other guest, the always funny and permanently-chic Allison Williams — aka @アリソン・ウィリアムズ of Netflix’s @unfortunate — wakes up to screengrabs from our Dr.’s hit @TLC show texted to her in the middle of the night by her dad lolz. (ps shocked that Allison & I didn’t see eye to eye about our new Bachelor but honestly she is probably right.) It was a meet-and-greet sent from the jet-lagged gods and the best way to kick off our new year of shows.
