A million thanks to @chef.mattabe who commands the army that makes @restaurantgordonramsay enter every battle ready to demolish. Feels like there is no “shits” in this kitchen, even though they will GLADLY accommodate a 6 top that wants to combine a la carte, set menus, and substitutions without the blink of an eye. An absolute gem and I’m ecstatic to scratch if off my culinary bucket list. I opted for the prestige menu, but it wasn’t anything short of inspired. The sweetbreads with Jerusalem artichokes main (which I subbed out for the lamb, expecting to be told no, but was happily obliged) will wake me up for nights to come with painful cravings... I can’t wait to be back in the summer! Incredibly balanced meal, and desserts were edible art epitomized, but stood out enough to hold their own next to some seriously strong savory courses that preceded it without being overtly indulgent.
