I’ve heard the phrase “Put yourself on...” with the assumption that everyone’s out for themselves. True mostly but there are some people in life who are unselfish & believe in you. & in rare cases will “put you on” & give you a shot. My brother @malcolmdlee did that from day one. Didn’t know me at all. Just rocked with my talent & hired me alongside LEGENDS. He loves Hip-Hop (as shown by this ill ass Gang Starr pic we took on SOUL MEN set) & he’s a closet comedian.
