Haven’t been able to take a decent #jess? photo lately, so here’s a #week28 #bumpdate instead - taken on Dec 9th 2018. ?

? Even from 2 weeks ago, mom @fifiutama said my bump already looks like hers when she was ready to give birth ?
? During regular checkup 3 days ago, doctor said my babies weigh 1,7 kg and 1,8 kg each, so together they weigh 3,5 kg - already heavier than the average singleton babies at birth ?
? Today on week 33, I just had my first contractions. ? Whether they’re real or not (they feel like not-so-painful-yet-very-uncomfortable menstrual cramps), right now I’m at the hospital and after several tests, doctor decided I should stay overnight for more treatments, and to make sure everything is okay ?

Although it’s common* for twins and multiples to arrive earlier than singletons, we aim to deliver the twins on mid Feb, which is on week 37 when the babies are considered full-term at least. So, right now we can only pray and hope for the best. ?????
*Average pregnancy lasts for about 280 days (40 weeks), but close to 60 percent of all twins and more than 90 percent of triplets are born prematurely (before 37 weeks).
