Consistently working on this. It’s so deep how hard this is to do. Not long ago, I wouldn’t have even thought I had many needs or the need to be better at setting boundaries. But the more deeply I’ve gotten to know myself, the more I’ve realized how important this is for allowing me to live my best life. So often, I’ve felt overwhelmed because I haven’t felt capable of setting boundaries, or anxious that I wouldn’t be able to set boundaries about something in the future, or guilty for even needing to set them. But that’s no way to live. We all deserve to express our boundaries and have people in our lives who care enough about us to respect them.
