Subash’s house was built upon a finger-like piece of land between the Beas and Sutlej Rivers in the Punjab of India. It wasn’t a mansion nor anything fancy. What this 70 year-old’s one room home had was more beautiful. In his placement of random things, colorful bags I’m glad he reuses, hanging behind drying dishes he’ll later use for dinner. It was Subash’ mansion, and it was welcoming.
