I created an #organic #fairtrade #chocolate range for @ピープルツリー公式アカウント nearly 20 years ago in Japan to help support & promote Fair Trade and a better deal for #cocoa and #sugar producers over #Valentines Day the biggest chocolate giving event in #Japan. When traditionally women give their male colleagues in the office ‘girichoco’ which means ‘obligatory chocolate’. I was so offronted by the whole #nonsense of it and how #chauvinist it seemed that the only way if making it make sense to me was to USE IT AS A BIG OPPORTUNITY TO PROMOTE GOOD ? ?❤️? today we sell 2 million bars or more a season - and it’s the most #delicious chocolate ever!
