From our Vinyl library at Underground this is "Hong Kong Garden": Siouxsie and the Banshees’ debut single, back in August 1978. After the track was heard on the Peel Sessions they were quickly signed up by Polydor.

The title comes from the name of the Chinese takeaway in Chiselhurst frequented by Siouxsie and her friends.
In this first, powerful song, Siouxsie speaks of the racist assaults that the restaurant was forced to suffer from the local skinheads.
